
Essential Skills for Dementia Care™ (ESDC) Certified Dementia Care Partner (CDCP) program is authored by Dementia Specialist, Tammy Pozerycki and is nationally approved and accredited by the National Institute for Dementia Education. The curriculum is research-based and builds competence, self-empowerment, and accountability around best practices in memory care, providing comprehensive education for staff at every level of care. Educating and credentialing leadership and staff reinforces a shared commitment to dignified, respectful, high-quality care. Nurses may earn 7 contact hours, and social workers may earn 7 CEs. Upon completion of the ESDC training, you can earn your credentials as a Certified Dementia Care Partner (CDCP).
Organizations looking to adopt an updated, engaging, research-based train-the-trainer curriculum need look no further.
Your organization may select up to three people to become Certified Dementia Care Partners (CDCP) through a one-day training. One CDCP may then attend an additional full day with Tammy Pozerycki to become a Certified Dementia Care Leader (CDCL).
Once certified, your organization receives the complete Essential Skills for Dementia Care Insert TM curriculum, including a PowerPoint presentation, Leader Handbook, and all materials needed to train your staff. The curriculum can be used for orientation, in-services, and both credentialing and non-credentialing training.

Cost is $325 per person includes lunch, Care Partner Handbook and credentialing
Private trainings may be scheduled for a minimum of 8 people and held at the organization.”

As a Certified Dementia Care Partner you will need to recertify every two years in oder to stay current. The recertification classes are two hours long, take place online only, and include updated research based information.
If you want to reschedule your training registration, the attendee must request this in writing via email to tammypozerycki@clearguidance.org. The following fees will apply. The rescheduling fee is due at the time of rescheduling. Registered Attendees may transfer their registration to a future training date. The rescheduled date must be within six (6) months of the original training date. After six months, the credit will expire and cannot be applied toward a future training.
All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing via email to tammypozerycki@clearguidance.org. Refunds will be processed within 10 business days of the cancellation request. Cancellations received within 48 hours of the training date are not eligible for a refund.
